Atlanta United FC — Atlanta United announced the release of forward Dom Dwyer today.

“We thank Dom for his efforts to the club and wish him the best of luck in the future,” stated Atlanta United Vice President and Technical Director Carlos Bocanegra.

Dwyer, 32, signed as a free agent with Atlanta on February 22, 2022. The attacker started six of his 25 games this season and scored seven goals in all competitions, including a brace in Atlanta’s U.S. Open Cup victory over Chattanooga on April 20. Dwyer started five of his 22 MLS appearances and scored four goals, including the game-winning goal in Atlanta’s 3-1 triumph over Sporting KC on Feb. 27.

Justin Garces, Brad Guzan, and Quentin Westberg are the three goalkeepers.

Noah Cobb, Andrew Gutman, Ronald Hernández, Brooks Lennon, Aiden McFadden, Efrain Morales, Juanjo Purata, Miles Robinson, and Caleb Wiley are the defenders.

Thiago Almada, Ozzie Alonso, Ezequiel Barco*, Derrick Etienne Jr., Ajani Fortune, Franco Ibarra, Marcelino Moreno**, Matheus Rossetto, Santiago Sosa, Tyler Wolff are the midfielders.

Luiz Arajo, Erik Centeno, Machop Chol, Jackson Conway, Erik López, Josef Martnez, and Edwin Mosquera are the forwards.
