The title of the chapter is “Glad Tidings.” The storey opens with a flashback to Noelle as a child, with his mother, Acier Silve, carrying her at her arm. Nozel couldn’t aid her mother in the past since he was too young. Acier Silva was the victim of a spell that was placed on her, but it faded with time. No one was aware of Acier Silva’s illness, and they assumed that her recent delivery was the reason of everything. Everyone was prohibited to declare that Acier perished at Megicula’s hands, and if they did, they would be executed. After receiving a curse warding spell, Acier suffers a secondary consequence. Nozel understood he couldn’t tell anyone since he needed to save his mother. Nozel intended to break the curse in secret, but his mother warned him not to put his life in danger. Acier remained in bed for months before succumbing to her injuries. She calls Nozel’s name, and he approaches her bed. Acier advised her son to stop looking for a method to help her since he could be in danger as well. She informed him that it is difficult to get stronger, but that when the time comes, he will become one, and they will become stronger than she.
Acier adds that Nozel must live on, and after a year of agony, Acier dies. Nozel could only watch his mother suffer and attend the burial with the others throughout the years, but Noelle was too little to understand what was going on. Nozel learns that he must push above his limits in order to become stronger and gain the opportunity to revenge his mother’s murder. Nebra and Solid are getting stronger, but they can’t compete with the Supreme Devil Megicula.

Recap of Black Clover Chapter 303
Nozel recounts the day his mother was diagnosed with a curse in Black Clover’s chapter 303 recap. She became weaker after the curse, and no one in the family understood it was because of the spell. When his mother was cursed, Nozel became entangled in it as well. If he told anybody about Magicula’s participation in the case, they would face the same fate. As a result, Nozel has no choice but to keep his mouth shut. Before she died, Nozel’s mother promised him that one day he would outgrow her and become much stronger. Nozel swore that day to become more stronger so that he could battle and destroy Magicula.
He kept an eye on his siblings to see how they were doing. Solid and Nebra were performing well, but Noelle wasn’t prepared for the battle. He coldly removed himself from her in the hope that she would not become embroiled in battle and endanger her life. He persisted in blaming Noelle for their mother’s death, causing her to detest him. However, he felt deep inside that he was the one actually to blame for the death. In order to become the Wizard King in his eyes, Nozel kept facing stronger opponents and racking up victories. Returning to the present, Nozel expresses gratitude to everyone for their efforts thus far. He’ll look after Magcula now that he’s here. He rushes up to her and unleashes the full force of his attack. Magicula informs him that devils do not have feelings like humans. Nozel takes a step back and realises he should not have shut Noelle away. Instead, they should have strengthened themselves and attacked the adversary in front of them. Magicula is defeated as the siblings combine their strikes and score a decisive blow on her.
