This year appears to be a huge one for the One Piece anime.
The One Piece anime will have a significant year in 2023, as the anime’s Wano saga comes to an end. The show’s animator has also hinted that the epic clash between Luffy and Kaido, complete with the much-anticipated Gear Five change, will take place shortly.
The anime’s forthcoming episode titles have been revealed, and we can see that episodes 1047 to 1050 will focus on Momonosuke and the rebels’ war against Kaido. Fans will be intrigued to watch how the plot unfolds. The following are the forthcoming episode titles:

One Piece animator Henry Thurlow recently teased forthcoming events in the anime’s Wano arc. Thurlow, who has been working on the series since episode 1017 and also contributed to the One Piece Film: Red, stated that 2023 will be the biggest year for One Piece and that “fans will get it all in 2023,” implying that the highly anticipated Gear Fifth transformation of protagonist Luffy in his final showdown with the powerful Kaido will take place. This metamorphosis was first shown in the film One Piece: Red, and fans have been eagerly anticipating its inclusion in the main series.
Mangaka Eichiro Oda has also stated that the One Piece manga would have exciting developments in the following year. The success of One Piece Film: Red in 2022 ensures that the series will continue to dominate in 2023.
