Hakari appeared to be far more powerful than Kashimo, but it turned out that his winnings were the only thing keeping him safe from Kashimo’s torture. We’re getting closer to the finish of the fight with each chapter, and the latest spoilers for Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 189 indicate that it’s almost there.
We’ve witnessed some truly terrible assaults from both opponents, ranging from powerful punches and kicks to lethal hits thrown with the Cursed Energy. Kashimo nearly kills Hakari by ripping a hole through his abdomen at the end of the previous chapter, but Hakari still has some moves left in his arsenal and unleashes his Domain Expansion at the end of the chapter.

Hajime concludes that Hakari’s technique is in Jitan mode, also known as Time Reduction mode. This method speeds up the draw, but the chances of winning the jackpot remain the same. Hakari strikes gold once more, this time owing to the Jitan mode. Hakari is a scientist, therefore he chooses to send Kashimo into the water, where he will be forced to spend all of his Cursed Energy or turn it off altogether.
Hakari now possesses infinite CT and Reverse Cursed Technique after winning the lottery. Hajime mounts the adjacent cursed spirits and attempts to fight back against Hakari. Hakari, on the other hand, skillfully throws him into the ocean. While waiting for Kashimo, Hakari smells something strong and falls into the sea.
The strong odour is caused by chlorine gas, which surges up when Kashimo releases electricity into the sea. It is then revealed that users of the Reverse Cursed Technique can be killed by crushing or poisoning their brains. To remove the poison, a High Reverse Cursed Technique procedure is required. Kashimo believes he has finally defeated Hakari, however the latter unexpectedly revives himself, resurrected by his body’s high automated Reverse Cursed Technique. With only five seconds of his immortality remaining, he begins to fight Kashimo beneath the water. Kashimo creates a massive explosion beneath the sea at the end of the chapter.
