The most recent edition of the Korea Business Research Institute’s Reputation Index for members of the most popular K-pop boy groups placed BTS’s Jimin at the top.

Monthly brand reputation rankings are published by the Korean Business Research Institute for male and female K-pop groups, individual idols, K-pop soloists, variety stars, and general variety programmes.

After a thorough analysis of data collected between December 14, 2022 and January 14, 2023, the January edition of the most popular K-pop idols was prepared. The goal of the study was to establish the extent to which fans interact with idols via face-to-face meetings, online forums, and other social media platforms, in addition to traditional media consumption.

Various criteria are utilised to collect and classify data on customer behaviour. Participation, communication, the media, and community are the primary classification categories. The final score is determined by passing the data to algorithms designed for ratio and reputation analysis.

Jimin is followed by ASTRO Cha Eun-woo and BTS’s Jungkook in the Boy Group Member Brand Reputation Rankings.

Jimin, the phenomenal vocalist of BTS, has won the Boy Group Member Brand Reputation Rankings for the 46th month in a row. The idol’s popularity has increased over the past month, propelling him from third to first place.

According to the most recent popularity index, the With You singer’s brand reputation score was 5,713,172. This represents a modest decline from last month’s score of 5,724,844.

According to keyword analysis, “With You,” “Taeyang,” and “VIBE” were among the highest-ranked phrases. Among his connected terms, “collaborate,” “compose,” and “release” were among the highest-ranked. Additionally, Jimin’s positivity-to-negativeness study indicated that 86.64 percent of the artist’s interactions are favourable.

ASTRO’s Cha Eun-woo follows closely behind Jimin on the list. The My ID is Gangnam Beauty star received a score of 5,643,772, a significant increase of 5.99% from the previous edition’s brand reputation score.

Each new edition of the Boy Group Member Brand Reputation Rankings reveals that Cha Eun-popularity woo’s has steadily increased, as the idol climbs numerous positions. This month, the vocalist for ASTRO moved up two positions to second place.

Jungkook, the youngest member of BTS, rounded out the top three. The Golden Maknae received an index score of 4,804,755. Since December, when he led the list with a remarkable score of 10,364,722, this is a dramatic fall of 53.64 percent.

In addition to Jungkook and Jimin, RM, V, and Suga have reached the top 10 of the Boy Group Member Brand Reputation Rankings, solidifying BTS as the undisputed leader of the K-pop industry.
