Chapter 1016 was titled “It’s O Tama.” The chapter begins in the flower capital, where we see Tengo Hitetsu walking in the festival of fire with Otoko and explaining to her that the festival of fire is held in honor of the dead and telling her that Yasui is watching them and watching what happens to Luano’s future.
We turn to CP0 who analyze the ongoing battle at Onigashima. The numbers of the two teams were 24,000 on the side of Kaido against 3 thousand on the side of the samurai, but with the scales turning and the rejoicing and waiting to move to the other side, the numbers are now 20,000 on the side of Kaido versus 7,000 on the side of the samurai.
Surprised that the situation has become beyond expectations, CP0 members get a tip that Momonosuke has fallen off the island. If this information is revealed, things will turn in Kaido’s favor again.
We move to the Nami and Usopp group, the weather wand starts talking and Zeus explains that when Hera was about to devour him he moved to the weather wand and was reborn in the form of a weather wand weapon and the wand can now talk and change its shape.
Suddenly Usopp is thrown to the ground by Altee, who was following them, Nami starts attacking her and suddenly the weather stick turns into a pointed ball and hits Alti’s head. Zeus explains that Alti may be solid on the outside but must be damaged on the inside by Big Mom’s attack and that a single lightning strike is enough to finish her off.
But Nami can’t use her attack because Tama is still in Alti’s hands, but suddenly Usopp demands his attack to separate Tama and Alti. Nami releases Zeus as a cloud again, but he says his name is no longer Zeus so Nami must give him a new name.
Nami called him “cotton” but this is such a bad name that Zeus decided to immediately ignore it to say that his name is Zeus and that he is Nami’s right hand. Nami used her “Thunder” attack to attack Alte to knock her to the ground.
Bao Huang was shocked by what had happened and screamed that Alti and Big One had been defeated without realizing that this announcement was being broadcast to everyone and that the entire island had heard it. Usopp realizes Bao Huang’s ability and uses his attack to catch her and tells Tama to talk to the entire island.
We move to Kaido and Yamato. Kaido flies to the top in the form of a dragon and then transforms into the form of a hybrid and taunts Yamato, saying that Luffy and Momonosuke are dead and that Yamato cannot protect them.
Kaido asks if Yamato intends to escape now that she is freed from her shackles to tell him that she will go out to sea with Luffy, but before that they will expel him from Wano first.
Kaido tells her that she has no chance against him and that she should become the shogunate of Wano, but Yamato says she knows she has no chance but Luffy is the man Kozuki Oden is waiting for so she will hold him back until he comes back. Kaido and Yamato begin their attack, ending the chapter with that attack. Now let’s see what can happen in the coming chapters.

One Piece 1017 Spoilers
The fights intensified with each chapter, and finally the confrontations began to rage with the approach of Luffy’s return to Onigashima and the start of the fight already between Yamato against Kaido.
Once Luffy returns, this will be his last fight with Kaido. The Straw Hats played a great role in confronting Kaido’s top soldiers, but Luffy had passed on his promise to them through Momonoske.
I think it’s time for a new person to appear in Wano, someone of the Yonko level. It could be Blackbeard or someone else.
It’s the worst generation battle against two Yonkou Emperors of the Seas, so let’s see who will win. It will be interesting to see what happens in the next chapter but all we can do now is wait.
One Piece Chapter 1017 Release Date
Chapter 1017 is due out on June 27, 2021. But there will be a preliminary version before that, probably on June 25.
