According to a January 26 announcement from Art One Company, the well-liked KBS drama “Dream High,” which debuted in 2011, would be revived as a musical in the first half of the year.

The drama featured the tale of teenage performing arts students who dreamed of pursuing a career as stars and launched the acting careers of Taecyeon, Kim Soo Hyun, Suzy, and IU.

The narrative of the main protagonists will be told in the stage musical after they have graduated from high school. Fans of the drama will be thrilled to witness what happens to their favourite characters in the plot adapted from the original work.

The musical is meant to combine thrilling choreography with the music in order to provide the same level of adrenaline as attending a concert. As for the key performers, particularly for the role of Song Sam Dong, expectations are also increasing (originally played by Kim Soo Hyun in the drama).
