The publication date for Black Clover Chapter 339 has officially been delayed, but thankfully it’s only by one week. The authors have already decided on when Chapter 339 will be available to readers, down to the minute.
Each new chapter of Black Clover’s final arc continues to provide surprising revelations. Fans first saw Sister Lily’s tragic end at the hands of Lucius, then Asta’s life was in jeopardy, and in the previous episode, we met Yami’s sister in the Hino Country, who might be Asta’s new mentor for his struggle against Lucius.
It’s understandable that fans are frustrated by the latest setback, along with everything that’s been going on. Although Chapter 339 of Black Clover will be delayed for a while, there is no need to fear because a new publication date has already been set.

In Black Clover, What Occurred Before?
Although Asta is concerned about returning to the Clover Kingdom, Ryuudou assures him that Lucius will not act for the foreseeable future. When Asta inquires as to the meaning of the term “Shogun,” he explains that it is equivalent to the position of “Wizard King” in his land. At first glance, Asta is taken aback and comments that he doesn’t appear to be that powerful. As soon as he hears this, Ichika’s temper flares and he labels him a foreigner. When asked if she recognised her, Asta apologises and replies she does.
Ryuudou decides to show Asta about his hometown, and the two of them end up spending some time at the local market. When Asta sees things that don’t exist in his home country, he experiences culture shock. Ryuudou elaborates that in his country, sorcery is practised rather than magic, and that scrolls are used instead of grimoires. Ryuudou abruptly shifts two innocent bystanders out of the road, and the bandits quickly storm the town.
Asta is curious as to whether or whether Ryuudou, with his omniscient gaze, foresaw the impending danger and rescued the bystanders. The robbers have labelled Ryuudou as weak, and he himself has admitted that he has no special abilities. Ichika quickly appears and wipes the floor with them. Asta gets delighted and approaches Ichika, but she grabs his face and pushes him away, at which point Ryuudou tells Asta that she is Yami’s little sister.
